The Good Design Award Philippines was launched in 2019 by the Design Center of the Philippines. It is a national biennial design excellence recognition seeking to discover local artists, designers, and businesses. It seeks outstanding designs embodying universal design values with the Philippine value of compassion (Malasakit).

Good Design Award Philippines is envisioned to be the country’s premier platform of good design by nurturing the culture of design excellence through creativity, innovation, value creation and impact.
AIDFI submitted its newly developed Mechanical Water Kiosk, which was given the Red Award for Systems/Service Design. The Red Award entails an idea showcasing good design with innovation and function in mind, garnering at least 90 points.
