AIDFI wins Europa Award 2022 for Water Resource Management

For more than four decades. the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) has continuously developed ties with the Philippines. Actively advocating for reforms that make the Philippines more competitive for investments, the Chamber has also been involved in sustainability-related advocacies on energy, water management, and circular economy.
The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) is a bilateral foreign chamber that promotes European interests in the Philippines and vice versa. As a membership organization with over 700 members among its ranks and a strong partnership with the government, the ECCP offers a strong business network that holds great potential in translating to tangible business opportunities. The Chamber strives to make its members’ viewpoints heard on economic and business issues, legislative measures, and administrative regulations.
In line with the European Commission’s efforts on the European Green Deal, it recognizes the urgency of sustainability. The ECCP organized the Europa Awards 2022 which seeks to promote and recognize companies with exceptional performance and contributions in promoting sustainability in line with global standards and the Philippine Development Plan.
Through an online event held on June 23, 2022. The Europa Awards 2022 recognizes companies in 10 award categories: Smart and Safer Mobility, Clean and Green Energy, Energy Efficiency and Conservation, Waste Management, Sustainable Agri-food, Green and Inclusive Finance Solutions, Water Resource Management, Green Buildings, Green Workforce, and Startup for Sustainability 2022.
AIDFI was nominated for the Water Resource Management along with Maynilad and NXTLVL Water of which AIDFI came out of the top and was awarded as the winner.
